The cultural heritage site of Loano Fortress in Dusun Loano Kulon Desa / Kecamatan Loano Purworejo District is abandoned. There is no guard who takes care of the classical Hindu cultural heritage built around the 9th century. The nurturer of the government-appointed site can not continue its activities because of a legal problem. "Practically after being a convicted person, there is no one to take care of the site," said Sutanto, Head of Loano Village. Site conditions are getting worse. Area of approximately 5000 square meters was overgrown with weeds. The red brick fence built around the site overgrown with moss and collapsed in several places. The village government has plans to build a mini museum in the area. The museum will store various collections of cultural heritage objects found in the village of Loano.
